What are the responsibilities and job description for the Superintendent position at Renewyx?
A commercial general contractor needs a Superintendent to run a small ground-up retail building in southern Indiana. The pad is ready when you mobilize, so you start at footings and take the job through to turnover. The schedule is about eight months, and the start is early November.
๐ง๐ต๐ฒ ๐ฟ๐ผ๐น๐ฒ:
- Run the build day to day: subs, schedule, quality and safety
- Be the contractorโs face on site with the owner and their reps
- Keep the job moving from footings through framing, finishes and closeout
๐ช๐ต๐ฎ๐ ๐๐ผ๐ ๐ป๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ฑ:
- 15 years in the field, with ground-up commercial experience (framing and up is plenty, no civil or grading required)
- Polished and comfortable working directly with the owner
- Working knowledge of Procore, CMiC or MS Project
- Based in the Midwest and willing to travel to site is ideal. Local to the area is a bonus.

- Around $120,000 base, annualized
- Per diem for travelers, plus help finding furnished housing near the site
- Mileage reimbursement for the daily drive
- Contract or direct hire, depending on fit
