Operations Manager

Renewyx is recruiting for a commercial general contractor that wants an Operations Manager to take charge of its Indianapolis office and bring in the work that keeps it growing.

The job is split between the people and the pipeline. Inside the office, you’ll lead the project team, including the PM, Assistant PM, Project Engineer and Superintendent, and join projects directly when they need a hand. Outside it, you’ll be the face of the company to architects, owner’s reps and developers, building relationships that turn into new projects. Financial planning and forecasting are handled by senior leadership, which leaves you free to focus on clients and delivery.

𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀:

• Growing the Indianapolis market through new relationships and pursuits
• Presenting to clients and leading project interviews
• Guiding the project team and developing its people
• Backing live projects on safety, quality and schedule

𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱:

• Time on the project management track, followed by preconstruction or client-facing business development
• Commercial building experience, such as galleries, theaters, community, mixed-use or high-end finishes
• A history of winning new work or expanding client accounts

𝗕𝗼𝗻𝘂𝘀 𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘀:

• Projects of $20M or more
• An existing network in Indianapolis
• Bachelor’s degree
• OSHA 30

𝗥𝗲𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀:

• $135,000 to $155,000 base, depending on experience
• Performance-based bonus
• Monthly car allowance and a company phone
• ESOP, plus a 401(k) with company match
• Medical, dental and vision coverage
• Permanent, fully on-site in Indianapolis, with relocation considered
