Job Summary
This role is responsible for managing the full accounting cycle for a portfolio of commercial properties in the Upper Kirby / Greenway Plaza area. The position supports accurate financial reporting, smooth daily operations, and effective collaboration with property management teams. The role also offers 100% employer‑paid benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle day‑to‑day accounting for multiple commercial and/or retail real estate properties
- Manage rent billing, CAM charges, insurance, and tax reconciliations
- Process accounts payable and receivable using RentManager, Yardi, or similar property management accounting software
- Complete bank reconciliations, journal entries, and month‑end close requirements
- Work closely with property managers on tenant activity, budgeting, and financial reporting
Requirements
- 1–3 years of commercial and/or retail real estate property accounting experience
- Solid understanding of triple‑net (NNN) lease structures
- Experience with RentManager, Yardi, or comparable accounting/property management systems
- Strong Excel skills and high attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and a diverse property portfolio
Salary : $75,000 - $95,000
