Mechanical Designer | $70K–$100K DOE Benefits & 401(k) Match
We’re hiring a Mechanical Designer to help design and develop advanced automated machinery. This is a hands-on role where you’ll create detailed mechanical drawings, assemblies, and documentation using 2D/3D CAD tools—perfect for someone with experience in industrial equipment or OEM environments.
What You’ll Do:
- Create detailed mechanical and assembly drawings using SolidWorks or AutoCAD
- Develop layouts, BOMs, and part models for automated machinery
- Support engineers with design updates, ECNs, and documentation control
- Design brackets, frames, components, and assemblies for new builds and retrofits
- Apply GD&T and tolerance analysis to ensure accurate manufacturing
What We’re Looking For:
- 2 years of mechanical design experience (OEM or manufacturing preferred)
- Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD (SolidWorks or AutoCAD)
- Strong knowledge of assemblies, BOMs, and ECN processes
- Understanding of mechanical components, actuators, motors, and pneumatics
