Boiler Technician (Field Service) – Commercial/Industrial Systems – Direct Hire
** $43-50 per hour plus OT, travel pay, full benefits, and long-term stability

NOTE: This position requires the ability to travel throughout the Northeast and strong boiler/burner service experience.
• $43-50 per hour plus O/T, travel pay, and full benefits
• Field-based role performing combustion tuning, PMs, troubleshooting, and commissioning of boiler systems
• Support includes control system upgrades, component replacement, and customer training
• Service territory across NY, Western MA, and Northeast – office based in Troy, NY
• High independence with strong company backing and supportive leadership
Please Note: This position requires occasional on-call, night, or weekend work depending on customer needs.

• Third-generation family business and based in Troy, NY
• Provides boiler sales and service, ASME code fabrication, welding, and industrial repair
• Serves a wide territory: North to the Canadian border, South to Poughkeepsie, East to Western MA, West to Rochester
• Known for technical depth, flexibility, and long-term customer relationships
Position Overview:
• Perform scheduled and emergency service on industrial boilers and related equipment
• Conduct inspections (internal and external), combustion tuning, and boiler room diagnostics
• Install and commission new boilers and related controls; lead customer training and handoff
• Execute burner control system upgrades, including troubleshooting and start-up
• Maintain accurate service documentation and provide input to improve service practices
• Participate in company-provided safety programs, including OSHA 10/30, confined space, and LOTO training
What You Need to Succeed:
• 3 years of experience servicing commercial or industrial boiler systems
• Strong knowledge of combustion tuning, boiler/burner troubleshooting, and control systems
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within service territory
• Ability to work independently with a positive, customer-first attitude
• Strong work ethic and clear communication skills
• English proficiency required (other languages a plus)
Salary : $43 - $50
