The HR Manager oversees all HR functions for a workforce of 550 employees across seven multi‑state locations. This role leads a team of three HR professionals, drives continuous improvement, ensures compliance, and supports organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities (Shortened)
- Evaluate and improve HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Develop and maintain HR plans, guides, handbooks, and work instructions.
- Partner with leadership on DOT/FMSCA compliance and workplace safety initiatives.
- Lead full‑cycle recruiting, workforce planning, onboarding, and talent acquisition strategy.
- Coach and mentor the HR team; support management with HR guidance.
- Implement employee development and retention programs.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Manage compensation structures and recommend market‑aligned adjustments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 7 years of progressive HR management experience, ideally in manufacturing or similar industries.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, compliance, and HRIS.
- Experience with Dayforce HR/Payroll a plus.
Salary : $110,000 - $128,000
