General Manager

I’m partnering with a fast-growing, customer-focused organization to hire an experienced General Manager to lead operations, distribution, and customer service for a 100 employee facility. This is a strategic leadership role for someone who excels in high-volume environments and knows how to drive performance and develop strong teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily distribution and operations while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and safety
• Lead and develop department managers to exceed productivity and service goals
• Strengthen relationships with customers and key business partners
• Drive strategic planning, annual business plans, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and all company policies
• Manage budgets, cost controls, and capital planning

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or related field (MBA a plus)
• 5 years of leadership experience in distribution, logistics, or operations
• Strong knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and safety best practices
• Proficiency with JD Edwards, voice selection systems (Lucas), and Microsoft Office
• Experience in staffing, process management, inventory control, and facility operations
• Food & beverage or foodservice industry experience strongly preferred
