Job Title: Senior GL Accountant
Location: Denver Metro, Jefferson County, CO
Compensation: $85-$110K DOE, Generous PTO and holidays; health and retirement packages
RemX is proud to represent our established, national client in their search for a focused, bright and industrious GL Accountant to join our growing team. As a GL Accountant, you will provide vital support to help streamline the company’s financial processes. Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain all General Ledger Accounting functions and ensure GAAP compliance
- Record all GL adjustments on monthly basis inc. prepaid, insurance and depreciation
- Maintain fixed asset schedules and record all accruals
- Prepare and submit monthly report regarding necessary bad debt reserve
- Manage balancing of intercompany invoices and billing
- Assist with preparation of quarterly financial statements
- Monitor cash flow and assist with treasury and banking activities
- Perform reconciliation of all GL accounts
- Support external audits and coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and other stakeholders
- Assist with special projects as needed
Requirements
- BS or BA degree in accounting or related field or equivalent experience
- Four (4) years strong GL accounting experience
- Highly proficient with all multi-state sales and use tax laws
- Experience with job costing, project accounting, % of completion and fixed assets
- Knowledge of all GAAP accounting standards
- Possess high level of accuracy with strong attention to detail in fast paced environment
- Able to complete work to deadlines with little direct supervision
- Strong problem solving, organizational, communication and listening skills
- Advanced MS Excel skills and proficiency in MS office suite of programs
- Proficiency with Timberline, Viewpoint Vista or similar industry ERPs
Salary : $85,000 - $110,000
