We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Assistant Facilities Manager to support daily operations, lead teams, optimize performance, and ensure exceptional service delivery in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
This role serves as a key member of the leadership team, supporting operational objectives while fostering a culture of safety, quality, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing daily warehouse operations, including inventory control, sequencing, pick and pack activities, and material flow support.
- Support staffing, scheduling, and workforce planning to ensure customer and operational requirements are consistently met.
- Monitor productivity, quality, inventory accuracy, and safety performance metrics, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and hourly team members to drive engagement, accountability, and operational excellence.
- Partner with customer representatives to maintain service levels, address operational concerns, and support production requirements.
- Identify, develop, and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and all safety and regulatory standards.
- Analyze operational data and performance trends to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing operational reports, KPIs, and performance metrics for leadership.
- Support inventory accuracy initiatives and oversee adherence to warehouse management processes and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3 years of leadership experience in warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, or supply chain operations, preferably within a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and team development skills.
- Proven ability to analyze operational data, identify improvement opportunities, and drive business results.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), inventory control systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience supporting automotive operations, including sequencing and Just-in-Time (JIT) processes.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience working with OEM customers and customer-driven operations.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and customer service.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting high-volume warehousing or production support operations.
- Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent continuous improvement training.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and customer-facing operational initiatives.
- Strong understanding of inventory management and material flow processes.
Salary : $95,000 - $105,000
