RN – Transport Nurse Specialist (ICU/ER)

Shift: 12-Hour Day Shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Position Summary:
The Transport Nurse Specialist (TNS) provides safe, high-quality, and therapeutic care during inter-hospital transport of patients across all age groups, from infants to adults. The nurse independently performs patient assessments, clinical stabilization, and advanced medical interventions during transport.
The Transport Nurse Specialist collaborates closely with interdisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes while supporting the mission of trauma, emergency, and critical care services.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Experience:
- Must meet one of the following:
- Minimum 3 years of ICU and/or Emergency Department experience, OR
- Minimum 2 years in a high-volume ICU/ER (50,000 visits/year), OR
- Minimum 2 years recent Critical Care Transport experience as a team leader (Required).
Required Certifications:
- BLS – Basic Life Support
- ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- TNCC – Trauma Nursing Core Course
- NIHSS – Stroke Scale Certification
Salary : $60 - $65
