Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Anesthesia Technician (Anesthesia Tech) to support anesthesia services in an acute care surgical environment. The Anesthesia Technician will assist anesthesiologists and nursing staff by preparing anesthesia equipment, maintaining supplies, and ensuring patient safety during surgical procedures. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operating room setting.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Anesthesia Technician experience — Required
- High School Diploma or GED — Required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification — Required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Certification — Required
- Relevant Anesthesia Technician Licensure/Certification — Required
- Ability to operate or quickly learn to operate anesthesia-related equipment
- Knowledge of medical terminology — Required
- Must live at least 100 miles away from the facility (Travel requirement)
