Recruiter (Staffing)
We are seeking an experienced Recruiter to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining a strong network of technical professionals and consultants while managing the full recruitment lifecycle for contract, temporary, and project-based positions. The ideal candidate is a proactive recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced staffing environment, builds lasting relationships, and partners closely with sales, leadership, and clients to deliver top talent.
Key Responsibilities
- Source, recruit, screen, interview, and qualify technical candidates for contract and direct hire opportunities.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with candidates and consultants to support current assignments and future opportunities.
- Manage multiple open requisitions while maintaining a high level of responsiveness and candidate engagement.
- Prepare candidate submissions, coordinate interviews, negotiate offers, and support onboarding through assignment start.
- Maintain accurate candidate records in the ATS, including resumes, availability, rates, work history, and assignment details.
- Partner with the Business Development team during client intake calls to understand hiring needs, project requirements, and ideal candidate profiles.
- Stay informed on industry trends, labor market conditions, and competitive hiring activity to support recruiting and business development efforts.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of recruiting experience in a staffing agency environment.
- Proven success recruiting and placing contract, temporary, and project-based professionals.
- Experience recruiting within engineering, mission-critical, data centers, power generation, MEP, industrial construction, or related technical industries.
- Knowledge of technical roles including Engineers, Project Managers, Superintendents, Mechanical and Electrical professionals, Technicians, and other skilled field personnel.
- Strong sourcing experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS platforms, job boards, networking, and referrals.
- Excellent communication, organization, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with contractor onboarding, compliance, and employment documentation is preferred.
