We are seeking a Controls Engineer to support the implementation of Controls, Applications, and Health systems in North American Body Weld shops. This role requires strong collaboration with internal teams and external vendors to meet business objectives, as well as expertise in project management, controls engineering, and system integration.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Implement Controls, Applications, and Health systems across North America Body Weld shops
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and execution
- Collaborate with internal innovation teams to support project initiatives
- Stay current on industry advancements and best practices in industrial controls and systems
- Author standards, procedures, technical memos, and manuals
- Work cross-functionally with NAMCs and external partners to identify solutions and meet goals
- Deliver presentations to peers and executive management
- Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Industrial, Controls, or Electrical Engineering—or equivalent work experience
- Project management experience
- Experience deploying industrial network-connected devices
- Experience in application server setup and configuration
- Experience in database operations and data collection protocols
- Proficiency programming PLCs and using SCADA software
- Experience in one or more of the following: Industrial controls, Application development, Monitoring equipment health
- Ability/willingness to work weekends, holidays, and shutdown periods to support modifications and installations (up to 30%)
- Ability to work overtime as needed to achieve project goals (up to 30%)
- Body Weld experience
- Knowledge of multiple programming languages (Python, VB.Net, BCL, SQL)
- Experience with data analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau)
- Background in Industrial controls, Application development, or Equipment health monitoring
