JOB SUMMARY
Relay Resources is seeking a highly experienced NetSuite Configuration Manager to lead and own NetSuite configuration for the Operations track as part of its ERP and Data Ecosystem transformation.
This role is hands-on and execution-focused, responsible for configuring NetSuite to support Relay’s operational workflows with accuracy, scalability, and discipline. The ideal candidate has deep experience configuring NetSuite for order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, inventory, and operational reporting, and understands how operational decisions flow into financial outcomes.
This is a mission-critical role for ERP Phase 1 and requires close collaboration with Operations, Finance, Process Engineering, and integration partners.
Key Responsibilities
1. NetSuite Configuration (Core Accountability)
· Lead end-to-end NetSuite configuration for the Operations track, including:
o Order Management / Order-to-Cash
o Procure-to-Pay
o Inventory & Item Management (as applicable)
o Operational workflows and approvals
o Departments, classes, locations, and operational segments
· Configure workflows, roles, permissions, and controls that support operational efficiency while maintaining governance
· Ensure configurations align with fit-to-standard principles and avoid unnecessary customization
2. Operations - Specific Ownership
· Partner directly with Operations stakeholders to translate business processes into scalable NetSuite configurations
· Support operational use cases such as:
o Purchasing and vendor management
o Inventory visibility and controls
o Order processing and fulfillment workflows
· Ensure operational configurations cleanly integrate with Finance and downstream reporting
3. Governance & Quality
· Own operational configuration standards and documentation
· Manage configuration across environments (sandbox, testing, production)
· Ensure role-based access and separation of duties where operational and financial workflows intersect
· Support data accuracy, audit readiness, and long-term maintainability
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
· Work closely with:
o Process Engineers (process alignment and documentation)
o Project Managers (delivery timelines and dependency management)
o Finance-track NetSuite Configuration Managers (cross-track consistency)
o Integration partners (e.g., NetSuite–UKG, NetSuite–Salesforce, data integrations)
· Support testing, UAT, cutover planning, and post-go-live stabilization
Required Experience & Qualifications
Must-Have
• 7 years of hands-on NetSuite configuration experience
• Strong experience configuring NetSuite for operations-focused workflows
• Proven experience with:
o Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay
o Inventory or item management (where applicable)
• Experience supporting ERP implementations or major NetSuite rollouts
• Ability to independently own configuration decisions and execution
Strongly Preferred
• NetSuite Administrator or Consultant certifications
• Experience in multi-entity or complex operational environments
• Experience aligning operational workflows with financial controls
• Strong documentation and knowledge-transfer discipline
• Prior experience working alongside external system integrators

• Core operational workflows function cleanly end-to-end
• Minimal post–go-live operational disruptions due to configuration gaps
• Clear documentation exists for all major configurations
