JOB SUMMARY
The Manager of Resource Navigators leads and supports the Resource Navigator team, overseeing case management and resource connection services for employees with disabilities. This leadership role ensures high-quality, person-centered support, fosters collaboration across departments, and promotes continuous improvement to meet the unique needs of Relay Resources’ employee community.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Team Supervision & Leadership – 35%
- Supervise, coach, and mentor a team of Resource Navigators to ensure effective delivery of case management and resource navigation services.
- Manage schedules, workloads, and quality assurance to uphold service standards and compliance with organizational policies.
2. Case Management Oversight – 20%
- Ensure Resource Navigators conduct thorough needs assessments, develop individualized service plans, and connect employees with internal and community supports.
- Provide guidance and direction on complex cases, including crisis intervention and problem-solving support.
3. Training & Professional Development – 15%
- Facilitate training, coaching, and skill-building opportunities to enhance staff knowledge and performance.
- Support a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the team.
4. Collaboration & Partnership – 10%
- Work closely with internal departments, partner agencies, and community organizations to maintain a strong and current network of resources.
- Foster relationships that enhance coordination and expand access to supports.
5. Program Evaluation & Reporting – 8%
- Monitor program outcomes and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Prepare reports for leadership and stakeholders, supporting strategic planning and funding requirements.
6. Inclusion & Equity Practices – 7%
- Promote a trauma-informed, culturally competent, and inclusive approach in all services and team activities.
- Ensure accessibility and equity are embedded in resource navigation and employee support.
7. Strategic Planning & Innovation – 4%
- Participate in organizational planning initiatives to strengthen disability inclusion and resource accessibility.
- Recommend program improvements and innovative approaches to better meet employee needs.
8. Other Duties as Assigned – 1%
- Perform additional responsibilities as requested to support departmental and organizational goals.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, human services, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
- Minimum three to five years of experience in case management, resource navigation, or disability support roles, with at least two years in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
- Strong knowledge of disability-related resources, benefit systems, community services, and case management best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity, and disability inclusion.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with case management software and Microsoft Office.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.
