Key Responsibilities
Strategic Growth & Market Expansion
- Identify, target, and secure new facility partnerships in New York.
- Develop a structured pipeline of leads (facility ownership groups, individual SNFs, regional operators).
- Regularly report growth metrics to executive leadership.
Relationship Development
- Serve as a trusted representative of Rehabilitation Associates, able to vouch for the quality and integrity of our clinical model.
- Leverage existing relationships within the LTC/SNF community to open doors and facilitate introductions.
- Act as liaison between facility leadership and our clinical/operational teams during early partnership stages.
Brand Representation & Advocacy
- Represent our practice at state associations, industry conferences, and networking events.
- Articulate Rehabilitation Associates’ value proposition clearly: comprehensive post-acute care that integrates physiatry, geriatrics, palliative care, and telemedicine.
- Ensure consistent messaging that aligns with our distinctiveness and reputation for quality.
Market Intelligence & Strategy
- Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive activity in post-acute care.
- Advise leadership on strategic positioning, opportunities for differentiation, and potential risks.
- Provide insights into payer dynamics, facility ownership shifts, and growth opportunities (e.g., new SNF builds, acquisitions).
Onboarding New Partners
- Support smooth transitions from prospect to contract, ensuring credibility and trust are maintained throughout.
- Collaborate with credentialing, operations, and clinical leadership to remove barriers for new facility engagement.
Qualifications
Experience:
- 5–10 years of leadership experience in long-term care, ideally as a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) or in a senior leadership role within a post-acute facility or ownership group.
- Demonstrated track record of driving growth, securing new contracts, or expanding services in the healthcare sector.
- Deep, pre-existing network with nursing home owners and administrators in New York.
Skills & Competencies:
- Exceptional relationship-building and trust-building skills.
- Strong understanding of the operational, clinical, and financial drivers of nursing homes.
- Ability to communicate the value of a comprehensive care model to both clinical and financial stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker who can balance short-term wins with long-term partnerships.
Education & Licensure:
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field (required).
- Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) credential strongly preferred.
- Master’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or public health (desired but not required).

- A former or current LNHA who is well-respected in the New York LTC community.
- Someone who can pick up the phone, call an owner/operator, and get a meeting because of their personal reputation.
- A professional who understands both the clinical impact (patient outcomes, quality metrics, reducing hospital readmissions) and the financial imperatives (Medicare, Medicaid, value-based programs) of nursing homes.
- Entrepreneurial and persuasive, yet empathetic—able to advocate for both the facility’s needs and our clinical mission.
Performance Metrics
- Number of new facility contracts secured per quarter/year.

Salary
- $120,000-$140,000 annual salary plus significant bonus incentivization.
