Job Description
HealthPartners is looking to hire a Clinical Logistics Technician to join our Central Hospital Operations team! The Clinical Logistics Technician plays a critical role in supporting patient safety and care delivery through centralized monitoring and observation. This position is responsible for continuous observation of cardiac telemetry for rhythm abnormalities, video monitoring for patient safety and supporting virtual nursing workflows across HealthPartners. In addition, this role will accurately be identifying and interpreting arrhythmias, and promptly escalating changes to the bedside teams. The technician ensures precise documentation of rhythm interpretations and alarm events, supports lead placement accuracy, and collaborates closely with clinical staff to maintain seamless communication and timely intervention.
This role requires strong situational awareness, professionalism, and adherence to privacy and monitoring standards while managing varying volumes of patient activity and system needs. The technician also supports onboarding of new team members and models effective, respectful communication in all interactions. Ideal candidates have a strong ability to communicate with team members, are responsive, and dedicated to ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

Work Schedule: Days (7am-3:30pm) - this position requires you work every other weekend and holiday. Some positions work every third weekend 12-hour days (7am-7:30pm) and holiday rather than every other weekend.
FTE: .6 (24 hours per week) - .75 (30 hours per week)
Our Clinical Logistics Technician who works above a .5 FTE (40 hours per 2 weeks) are eligible for medical insurance, dental insurance, 401K with a match, disability insurance, paid time-off, and tuition reimbursement. - This position is working in-person at the HealthPartners Corporate Office in Bloomington, MN.
- Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant program
- Experience in an acute care setting as a Nursing Assistant and/or Emergency Room Technician
- Completion of one clinical rotation in an RN or LPN program within one year.
- Completion of an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) role with at least 1 year of experience in an EMS based agency.
- Current CPR certification (American Heart BLS for Healthcare Providers) required. (Demonstrates at the time of employment and every 2 years thereafter).
- Completion of an Electrocardiogram (ECG/EKG) education class. (Can be completed within 6 months of hire and every year thereafter).
- Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Demonstrates basic computers skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with patients, visitors, and colleagues.
- Ability to independently initiate appropriate tasks within the scope of practice of the position.
- Ability to provide individualized care and respond to a variety of patient and family preferences.
- Ability to provide an exceptional patient experience utilizing strong customer service skills.
- Ability to set priorities and manage time effectively.
- High school degree of equivalent
- Prior experience in acute care or hospital setting
- Nursing assistant certification
- Proficiency using Electronic Health Record (EPIC)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
