Job Overview
Regional School Unit #4 is seeking a qualified, motivated individual to fill an open Ed Tech II/LEAP position in our Special Eduaction Department at Oak Hill Middle School. Oak Hill Middle School is our 5-8 grade school located in Sabattus, Maine. Applicants must be an Ed Tech II and have a State of Maine Authorization certificate with (023) endorsement. CHRC required.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Instructional
1. Works with individuals or small groups of students to provide curriculum support with indirect
teacher supervision
2. Supports students with accommodations and/or modifications
3. Monitors student behavior plans as defined by the teacher
4. Conducts student observations as defined by the teacher
5. Becomes familiar with classroom rules, expectations, materials and assignments
6. Performs lunch or break duty as assigned by the Building Administrator
7. Performs additional duties as requested by the Building Administrator or supervising teacher
