Join Our RSU 4 Custodial Team
RSU 4 is looking for a dedicated, hardworking individual to join our custodial staff Our
custodians play a key role in keeping our schools safe, comfortable, and clean for students
and staff to learn and develop each day.
Position Available: 6 hours at Libby Tozier School in Litchfield, ME
Qualifications: Must hold or be able to obtain a current Maine Department of Education
Criminal History Records Check (CHRC).

SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 2:00p.m.-8:00p.m.
PAY SCALE: $20.59-$22.59, Hourly shift differential
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Keeps the building neat and clean at all times
Maintains daily work schedule; including, but not limited to, securing doors,
emptying wastebaskets, sweeping, mopping, washing and waxing floors,
vacuuming, dusting and cleaning bathrooms
Set-up and take-down for special events and functions
Act as a contact for individuals and groups using school facilities outside normal
school hours
Remove snow, salt and sand walkways when necessary
Hours and location may vary/change based on District's needs
Other duties as requested
REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or GED
Prior experience in custodial or cleaning preferred
Must work well with students, staff and the public
Must be dependable and reliable
Physical ability to perform physical requirements of the position
State of Maine Dept. of Education Criminal History Records Check (CHRC)
