Our client is a growing industrial real estate developer focused on acquiring, developing, and operating high-quality logistics, warehouse, and last-mile assets across the the tri-state area. They are seeking a motivated early-career real estate professional to join the team and play a key role in leasing, investments, and acquisitions.
Position Overview
The Associate will support the full leasing lifecycle across an active industrial portfolio while also contributing to investment underwriting, market analysis, and acquisitions. This is an ideal opportunity for a self-starter who wants broad exposure across leasing and deal-making within a nimble, entrepreneurial environment. The role is based in Queens, NY with regular travel to regional assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a point of contact for prospective and existing tenants; coordinate property tours and manage inquiries.
- Support lease negotiations, LOIs, renewals, amendments, and term sheets.
- Maintain up-to-date leasing pipelines, tenant activity reports, and market comps.
- Track and analyze leasing metrics and portfolio performance.
- Assist in developing marketing materials, brochures, and digital listings.
Investments & Acquisitions
- Support underwriting of new acquisitions, developments, and redevelopment opportunities.
- Perform market research, including industrial supply/demand trends, comparable sales, and rental analyses.
- Assist in preparing investment memos, financial models, and presentations for internal decision-making.
- Participate in due diligence for acquisitions, including site inspections, lease audits, and third-party report review.
- Help maintain deal pipeline and coordinate with brokers, sellers, and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in commercial real estate; industrial experience strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of leasing fundamentals, market analysis, and basic financial modeling.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and real estate analytics platforms (e.g., CoStar, LoopNet).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to engage effectively with tenants, brokers, and internal teams.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple active deals.
- A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and is comfortable taking ownership.
- Familiarity with the New York industrial market is a plus.
Salary : $100,000 - $130,000
