Project Manager - National Developer (Miami):
Overview
Nationally recognized multifamily real estate developer seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the execution of a large-scale, ground-up multifamily project in Miami. This role will have responsibility for delivering the project from late pre-development through construction, close-out, and stabilization, working closely with internal teams and external consultants.
The ideal candidate brings deep execution experience on large, complex multifamily developments (300 units) and thrives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment. You will be the lead Project Manager on the project, reporting to a Senior Project Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day construction execution for a ground-up multifamily project in Miami
- Manage the project through design development, construction, and close-out
- Coordinate and oversee architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants
- Work closely with construction, design, and finance teams to ensure alignment on budget, schedule, and quality
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, GMP negotiations, change orders, and cost controls
- Monitor construction progress, risk mitigation, and quality assurance
- Lead project close-out, including punch lists, COs, warranties, and transition to operations
- Prepare internal reporting and present updates to senior leadership
Qualifications
- 7 years of construction and development experience, with a strong focus on ground-up multifamily execution
- Proven experience delivering large-scale multifamily projects (400 units), high-rise experience is a plus
- Hands-on experience managing design and construction teams through completion
- Strong understanding of development budgets, construction contracts, and scheduling
- Experience working with national or institutional developers preferred
- Miami or South Florida market experience is required
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field
Salary : $140,000 - $165,000
