If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Project Delivery Group as a Construction Project Manager.The Role:As our Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of complex commercial construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your exceptional communication skills will be crucial in coordinating with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and stakeholders, all while maintaining a strong on-site presence and overseeing the on-site project teams.Key Responsibilities:Oversee and manage all aspects of the construction project from pre-construction through close-out, requiring a consistent on-site presence.Directly supervise and manage the on-site staff, including the Project Superintendent and Project Engineer.Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and budgets.Manage and coordinate the activities of subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants on the project site.Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality control standards through active on-site monitoring and direction of the on-site team.Proactively identify and resolve project-related issues and challenges while being readily available on-site and working closely with the on-site team.Maintain clear and consistent communication with all project stakeholders, including the client, architect (Gensler), and internal teams, often requiring in-person interaction on-site and effective communication with the on-site team.Track project progress and provide regular reports to stakeholders.Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and RFIs.Foster a collaborative and positive working environment on the project site.Qualifications:Proven experience (5 years preferred) as a Project Manager in complicated commercial construction, ideally with experience in educational or institutional projects.Demonstrated success in managing projects of similar scale and complexity.Proven ability to lead and manage on-site construction teams.Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders1 in person and remotely.Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and materials.Proficiency in project management software and tools.2Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making skills.Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.Compensation and Benefits:We offer a competitive salary range, commensurate with experience.
