What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cook's Helper/Cook position at Redington Fairview General Hospital?
The cook’s helper supports and assists the cook in food preparation and service of meals. This individual is responsible for the assembly of foods and supplies for supplemental feedings as well as limited food preparation and service of specified menu items. This individual assumes primary responsibility for accurately recording diet orders/diet changes for meal service in accordance with the patient’s diet orders. The Individual washes kitchen utensils as needed manually and cleans specified kitchen areas.
Status: Per diem
Qualities: Must use positive interpersonal skills and demonstrate collaborative working relationships with all team members.
Requirements: High school education or equivalent desirable. Two years’ experience in institutional or restaurant cooking is very desirable.
The pay range for this position is $16.48 to $29.87 per hour, based on relevant education, qualifications, and experience
Salary : $16 - $30
