What are the responsibilities and job description for the Release of Information Specialist position at Redington Fairview General Hospital?
The Release of Information Specialist shall participate as a member of the Health Record Services Department and respond to requests for release of medical information and perform related duties as required.
Status: Full time, 40 hours, days
Qualities: Must be well organized and have good communication skills. Previous experience in health information and/or medical background with general office experience
Requirements: Previous experience with release of information rules and regulations preferred. Experience using an electronic medical record system is preferred. Experience with Meditech Expanse would be advantageous. Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
The pay range for this position is $18.00 to $27.95 per hour, based on relevant education, qualifications, and experience
