Senior Creative Producer (Strategic Content Creator)

RedCloud seeks a Senior Creative Producer & Content Creator to support immediate client operations.

Location: Redmond, WA

Overview

We’re seeking a hands-on, strategic producer/editor who can both create and lead. You will drive the vision, synthesize technical information from multiple sources, and lead creative execution across complex, technical topics. This role blends big-picture storytelling with sleeves-rolled-up production. This is ideal for a creator who thrives at the intersection of engineering and content.

This role requires regular onsite presence for co-creation with engineers and designers (lab and office environments). Candidates must be able to work onsite in Redmond Washington and accommodate lab schedules and ad-hoc working sessions.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

• Own end-to-end production of explainer videos, presentations, and related creative assets—from concept and scripting to delivery and post-launch iterations.
• Deeply engage with engineering teams to learn the technical subject matter and capture the story using a “story-first” approach.
• Synthesize inputs from multiple (and sometimes conflicting) technical sources into a clear, digestible narrative for the intended audience.
• Direct cross-functional creatives (designers, 3D artists, motion, and external partners) and ensure quality, consistency, and brand alignment.
• Manage schedules and workflows (RoB, milestones, approvals) while staying a creator (not just a scheduler) able to roll up sleeves in editing, motion, or asset development.
• Facilitate reviews with technical stakeholders; make decisive calls that clarify content and keep projects moving.
• Maintain project artifacts (scripts, storyboards, asset libraries) and document repeatable processes for scale.
  
  

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Experience in content creation, creative direction, and/or video/animation production with a portfolio demonstrating shipped work.
• Technical/scientific storytelling background is a major plus (ability to explain sophisticated topics simply and accurately).
• Proven record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects; include case studies highlighting goals, constraints, and outcomes.
• Outstanding communication and leadership—able to align engineers, PMs, and creatives and present clear rationales for content decisions.
• Hands-on capability in at least one core production area (e.g., editing, motion design/3D, scripting, visual design), with working fluency in common tools (Adobe CC, motion/3D packages, presentation platforms).
• Operational rigor - comfortable with intake, scoping, timelines, status reporting, and change management.
  
  

Compensation range for this position is $129,600 - $144,000/year DOE.
