Responsibilities
- Create and proofread written content pieces for clients in the form of website blogs, newsletters, press releases, social media copy, website copy, political advertisements, script copy, and more.
- Overseeing various projects for clients.
- Knowledge about political advertisements and the laws associated with them.
- Creating and proofreading political advertisements.
- Assist clients with events, including setup, teardown, and interaction with key donors and activists.
- Assist clients in assembling and sending newsletters on platforms such as MailChimp and MailerLite.
- Assist clients with keeping websites up to date (simple WordPress blog and event updates).
- Knowledge of Texas government from the state level down to the local level, and Texas elections.
- Legislative bill analyses.
- Research projects for internal and client use.
- WordPress or similar platform basic understanding
- Strong writing capabilities
- Basic understanding of email platforms such as MailChimp or MailerLite
- Basic knowledge of Texas politics
- Knowledge of SEO tools
- Proficiency in basic AI tools
Salary : $38,000 - $50,000
