Maintenance Technician

Now Hiring: Hotel Maintenance Technician

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Hotel Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining the hotel's guest rooms, common areas, and building systems to ensure a safe and comfortable experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC and air conditioning units.
• Replace and repair light fixtures, bulbs, outlets, and switches.
• Install and repair door hardware, locks, latches, and hinges.
• Perform caulking, painting, drywall patching, and minor carpentry.
• Repair plumbing issues, including leaks, clogged drains, faucets, and toilets.
• Assemble, install, and repair furniture and fixtures.
• Safely operate power tools, drills, ladders, and maintenance equipment.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff.
• Perform preventative maintenance on hotel equipment and facilities.
• Keep maintenance areas organized and maintain proper inventory of tools and supplies.
• Assist with outdoor maintenance, including trash removal, landscaping, snow removal, or other seasonal duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC and air conditioning systems preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
• Ability to use power tools, drills, and hand tools safely.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve maintenance issues independently.
• Must be able to lift 50–75 pounds and perform physical work, including climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation and a dependable work ethic.
• Previous hotel or commercial maintenance experience is a plus but not required.

Pay: Based on experience AND bonus/raises happen.
