Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of all assigned areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, and common spaces using proper cleaning techniques and equipment
- Maintain floor care through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, carpet cleaning, and polishing to ensure surfaces are spotless and safe
- Ensure all sanitation standards are met by disinfecting surfaces and waste disposal areas regularly
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to residents’ or guests’ requests for additional cleaning or amenities
- Manage custodial tasks such as restocking supplies, emptying trash bins, and maintaining cleaning equipment in good condition
- Assist with basic cooking tasks or meal preparation when required in hospitality settings
Experience
- Prior experience in residential cleaning, janitorial work or custodial roles is highly valued
- Experience with commercial cleaning or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning and floor polishing
- Familiarity with sanitation standards and safety protocols in cleaning environments
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents or guests
- Experience managing laundry operations and handling various cleaning tools and products
