Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment.
• Handle various cleaning agents and chemicals safely, adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) and hotel protocols.
• Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and care for different flooring types to maintain pristine conditions.
• Manage heavy lifting tasks such as moving furniture or supplies safely, following manual handling guidelines.
• Restock amenities like towels, toiletries, and linens to ensure guest comfort at all times.
• Follow hotel emergency procedures promptly and accurately in case of incidents or safety concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness standards by inspecting work areas regularly and reporting any maintenance or sanitation issues.

Requirements

• Proven experience in hotel housekeeping, janitorial work, or industrial cleaning is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including floor cleaning and maintenance.
• Ability to handle cleaning equipment efficiently and safely, including vacuums, buffers, and mops.
• Familiarity with chemical handling procedures and safety protocols related to sanitation products.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members.
• Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking.
• Knowledge of hotel housekeeping management practices and hotel emergency procedures is a plus.

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 – 38.0 per week
