Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness and organization of our facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure that all areas are kept hygienic, tidy, and welcoming for residents, guests, or staff. This role involves performing a variety of cleaning tasks to uphold high standards of cleanliness and comfort. A key responsibility includes managing laundry duties to ensure clothing and linens are properly cleaned and maintained.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in all designated areas.
- Maintain cleanliness in bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and common areas to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens, towels, and clothing items efficiently.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, cleaning products, and linens as needed.
- Ensure proper disposal of waste and recycling materials in accordance with facility guidelines.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Follow health and safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
