This organization is looking for a Quality Engineer who can strengthen its Quality Management System, drive process improvement initiatives, and support production quality across multiple operations.
What You’ll Do
- Review manufacturing processes and identify opportunities to enhance quality, efficiency, and ISO 9001 compliance.
- Lead corrective action and root cause analysis for internal and supplier nonconformances.
- Support the PPAP process and champion continuous improvement in GD&T practices.
- Conduct Gage R&R studies to validate measurement system performance and recommend improvements.
- Serve as a key technical resource for ISO Quality System requirements, internal audits, and calibration systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure process consistency, reduce waste, and elevate product quality.
- Evaluate non-conforming materials, coordinate with suppliers, and support resolution activities.
- Promote a safe, positive, and inclusive work environment for all employees.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, or related field).
- 5 years of quality engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience maintaining and improving ISO 9001 systems.
- Strong understanding of GD&T, statistical analysis, and measurement tools.
- Experience with APQP/PPAP (automotive or related industry preferred).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with lean manufacturing concepts.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Six Sigma certification (Green or Black Belt) and/or bilingual skills (Spanish) are a plus.
