Job Summary
Seeking a Site Safety Specialist to ensure compliance, promote safe work practices, and maintain a strong safety culture on-site.
Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing site safety programs and procedures
- Conduct daily safety observations and document findings
- Monitor compliance with OSHA, company, and client safety standards
- Support Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and pre-task planning activities
- Assist with safety onboarding and training coordination
- Maintains safety documentation, permits, and reports
- Participate in incident investigations and reporting
- Monitor PPE usage, housekeeping, and site conditions
- Support communication of safety expectations to teams and subcontractors
- Help maintain safety signage and communication boards
Qualifications
- 0–3 years of construction or safety-related experience
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic knowledge of OSHA standards (29 CFR 1926 preferred)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Comfortable working in active construction environments
- Willingness to travel or relocate based on project needs
