ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for the design, space planning, layout & specifications and quotes for our commercial office furniture & systems products.
- Prepare project estimates & schedules for dealers & end users
- Thorough understanding of project process from design through installation.
- Build relationship with sales team, installation team, & manufacturing team.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Qualifications include ability to read and interpret cad drawings and other office furniture/cubicles and dimension plans.
- Strong organizational & time management skills
- Minimum 1 year experience in commercial design/furniture industry
- Strong verbal presentation skills to express clearly and articulately the project direction & design intent to team members, dealers & end users.
- Knowledge of furniture, material and design specifications.
- Working knowledge of ADA and Fire Codes
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited School of Architecture and/or Interior Design or area of specialization.
HARDWARE/SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS:
- AutoCAD 2022 Required.
- CAP 20/20 software experience Required.
- Furniture specification with CAP 20/20 including CAP Worksheet
- Visual Impressions 3D Rendering
- Microsoft Office
- Microsoft Outlook
Salary : $55,000 - $65,000
