Founded in 1988, a premier full-service law firm has handled tens of thousands of cases and recovered hundreds of millions of dollars for clients in different areas of law, including personal injury/car accidents, personal injury protection (PIP) litigation, workers’ compensation, family law, employment law, real estate law, estate planning/probate, and commercial litigation. The firm is growing and successful, with six offices located throughout the state of Florida and one office in Texas.
We are seeking a full-time Bilingual Personal Injury Case Manager to join our team. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a pre-litigation personal injury case manager. In addition, must have handled a caseload of at least 100 cases. This is NOT a remote position.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to handle a high-volume caseload.
- Manage a caseload from intake and opening through settlement and closing.
- Contact clients, insurance companies, and medical providers.
- Order medical records from providers and communicate with clients and providers during the course of treatment.
- Obtain documents necessary to support injury and/or liability positions.
- Interact with insurance carriers and medical providers to secure records and account balances.
- Contact insurance companies to determine coverages and policy limits.
- Maintain organized case files.
- Draft litigation complaints and discovery responses.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Personal Injury Pre-Litigation.
- Bilingual, English/Spanish required.
- Case management and client file updates (medical records and ledgers, updating costs and expenses for BI and pre-suit, verify policy disclosures in file).
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent people skills as the position requires a great deal of client contact.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
