Role Overview
Seeking an experienced Engineering (Project) Manager to lead large-scale capital projects and support the expansion of our high-speed manufacturing operations. This role will oversee capital procurement, supplier management, and team development while ensuring efficient execution of projects in a 24/7/365 production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and execute capital projects supporting expansion from 10 to 20 production lines, including new builds and equipment transfers from other facilities
- Oversee construction of a new 900,000 sq. ft. facility adjacent to the existing 1.1 million sq. ft. plant
- Lead a team of 8–10 direct reports, fostering professional development and accountability
- Partner with suppliers and contractors to ensure cost-effective, high-quality project execution
- Apply strong controls knowledge to support high-speed automated manufacturing systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of new production lines
- Maintain agile leadership with clear communication, poise under pressure, and a hands-on approach
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, safety, and quality across operations
Qualifications
- 10 years of engineering and project management experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment
- Proven success in capital procurement, supplier management, and large-scale facility or equipment projects
- Experience leading and developing teams in a fast-paced, 24/7 production setting
- Strong background in controls and automation systems
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, work hands-on when needed, and deliver results
- Excellent communication, leadership agility, and problem-solving skills
