CNC programmer

Job Summary

Client is seeking a CNC Router Programmer to program, set up, and operate CNC routing equipment used in the production of custom signage. This role is responsible for creating and optimizing CNC programs, ensuring production quality, troubleshooting equipment issues, and supporting efficient manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and optimize CNC router programs for custom signage production.
• Set up and operate CNC routing equipment and related fabrication systems.
• Review drawings and specifications to ensure accurate production.
• Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot issues, and make necessary adjustments.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain program files, production records, and equipment upkeep.
• Collaborate with production, fabrication, and design teams to meet project deadlines.
• Follow all safety procedures and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience programming and operating CNC router machines.
• Knowledge of CAD/CAM software and programming principles.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Preferred: 2 years of CNC programming experience, MultiCam experience, and proficiency with EnRoute, SolidWorks, or CorelDRAW.
• Experience in sign manufacturing or custom fabrication environments is a plus.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a hands-on CNC Programmer with experience in manufacturing environments, preferably signage or custom fabrication. They are skilled in CNC programming, machine setup, troubleshooting, and quality control, with the ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative production team.
