Senior Property Accountant

Our client, a growing private real estate commerical and residential firm, seeking an experienced Senior Property Accountant to maange 10 properties accounting. 🚀 The Opportunity
As the Senior Property Accountant you will lead full-cycle property accounting, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support operational including lease administration, CAM reconciliations, construction draws, capital project tracking, and cash flow reporting.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
- Manage all day-to-day property accounting, including GL, journal entries, accruals, and monthly close
- Implement policies and procedures
- Prepare monthly/quarterly financial reports and variance analysis
- Oversee lease setup, rent schedules, and tenant billing
- Lead CAM reconciliations, straight-line rent schedules, and recovery analysis
- Prepare monthly construction draws and coordinate lender submissions
- Track tenant improvements, capital projects, leasing commissions, and amortization schedules
- Support annual budgets, reforecasts, cash flow projections, and operational planning
- Develop process improvements, checklists, and streamline workflows
- Partner with property management on ad-hoc financial and operational projects
🎓 Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3 years of property accounting experience
- Deep understanding of lease structures, CAM, tenant billing, and straight-line rent preferred
- Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
