Location: Remote
Billables: 1,900 hours per year target
Base Salary: 130,000 to 175,000 DOE Bonuses from meeting your billables
Bar Requirement: Must be licensed and in good standing with the California Bar

The practice combines high level insurance coverage work with active litigation, including depositions, motion practice, and case strategy. What You Will Do
• Draft insurance coverage opinions and analyze coverage provisions
• Handle discovery, pleadings, motions, and written advocacy
• Prepare and conduct depositions
• Attend court hearings, mediations, and strategy meetings
• Communicate directly with carrier clients and provide status reporting
• Manage case deadlines, litigation calendars, and independent case work
• Collaborate with partners and senior counsel on complex matters
What You Need
• JD from an accredited law school
• Active California Bar license
• 3 years of insurance coverage, insurance defense, or civil litigation experience
• Strong legal writing, analysis, and communication skills
• Ability to manage cases independently and meet billable expectations
• Experience with coverage opinions is preferred but not required for strong litigators
