Location: Rocklin / Roseville, CA (local candidates only)
Compensation: $100,000 – $115,000 base bonuses
What This Firm Does
This is a boutique labor & employment defense firm representing employers, with a strong focus on wage & hour, PAGA, class actions, and employment litigation . Much of the work is litigation-driven and process-heavy.
You do not need prior labor & employment experience . You just need an interest in litigation and the ability to learn quickly.
The Role
This is a true entry-level associate role for a recently barred California attorney who wants hands-on litigation experience early. You will be trained, supported, and given real responsibility.
What You’ll Do
- Support active civil litigation matters from intake through resolution
- Draft pleadings, discovery, and motions
- Assist with depositions, hearings, and trial prep
- Learn wage & hour, PAGA, and employment defense work on the job
- Work closely with senior attorneys and partners
What They’re Looking For
- JD from an accredited law school
- California Bar (recent pass encouraged)
- Interest in civil litigation (practice area flexible)
- Strong writing, organization, and follow-through
- Local to Rocklin / Roseville (within ~15–20 miles)
