Recruit Secure, LLC is collaborating with a network of 6 Skilled Nursing Facilities across Brooklyn, Far Rockaway, and Hempstead, NY. This role is ideal for a motivated admissions professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is flexible with travel between locations.
The Floating Director of Admissions will be responsible for overseeing admissions operations, driving census growth, and ensuring seamless coverage across facilities. This position will also provide coverage for Directors of Admissions during vacations, leaves, or other absences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the admissions process across multiple SNF locations
- Drive census growth through hospital and community referrals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, case managers, and referral sources
- Coordinate patient referrals, insurance verification, and admissions approvals
- Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and facility admission regulations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure smooth patient transitions
- Provide coverage and leadership support when a Director of Admissions is out (vacation, leave, etc.)
- Monitor admissions metrics and implement strategies to improve occupancy rates
Qualifications:
- Experience as a Director of Admissions in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred
- OR a well-experienced Admissions Coordinator with 3–4 years of SNF experience will be considered
- Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care processes
- Proven ability to build referral relationships and drive census growth
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Ability to travel regularly between Brooklyn, Far Rockaway, and Hempstead locations
