Position Summary
Our dual-diagnosis behavioral health treatment center is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to provide clinical leadership and oversight across the full continuum of care, including medical detox, residential, partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), and outpatient (OP) programs. This role includes staff supervision, clinical quality assurance, chart auditing, training, hiring support, and cross-disciplinary collaboration for patients with co-occurring substance use disorder (SUD) and mental health conditions.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm or 7:00am - 3:00pm, AOC, rotating every 4-6 weekends
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group clinical supervision to staff and licensed/registered interns
- Oversee and improve clinical quality assurance (QA), compliance, and evidence-based treatment delivery across all program levels
- Conduct chart audits for direct supervisees, ensuring clinical documentation accuracy and regulatory adherence
- Lead and implement clinical initiatives, process improvements, and field-level clinical troubleshooting
- Collect, analyze, and integrate staff and patient feedback to improve clinical workflows and treatment engagement
- Support hiring, training, retention, and clinical competency development of the clinical team
- Collaborate with medical, nursing, admissions, utilization review, and case management to ensure integrated patient care
- Maintain and uphold ethical, professional, and culturally competent clinical leadership standards
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related behavioral health field
- Active and unrestricted licensure as one of the following:
- LICSW
- LCSW
- LADC 1
- LMHC
- 2–5 years clinical management or leadership experience in behavioral health
- Experience working with dual-diagnosis / co-occurring disorder populations
- Knowledge of clinical service delivery in detox, residential, PHP, IOP, and OP settings
- Experience with EMR systems, clinical documentation, chart auditing, appeals, and denial management
- Strong written and verbal communication, leadership, and process-management skills
Preferred Experience (Highly Valued)
- Supervising licensed or registered clinical interns
- Rolling out clinical quality-improvement initiatives
- Working in full-continuum dual-diagnosis treatment programs
- Familiarity with ASAM criteria and level-of-care placement workflows
Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
