The Opportunity: Quality Engineer
As a Quality Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our products are built to perform, last, and exceed expectations. You’ll help shape and strengthen quality systems, processes, and standards that support high-performing, reliable, and compliant products—while continuously pushing for smarter, better ways to work.
In this role, you’ll partner closely with engineering, operations, and supply chain teams to proactively identify risks, dig into root causes, and drive meaningful corrective actions. You’ll be at the heart of product development and manufacturing quality, influencing decisions from concept through production and beyond.

Key Responsibilities
- Develops, implements, and maintains quality systems, processes, and standards to ensure product and process consistency
- Leads root cause analysis investigations for product defects, nonconformances, and customer complaints using structured problem-solving methodologies
- Drives corrective and preventive actions and ensures effectiveness through verification and follow-up
- Partners with engineering and product development teams to define quality requirements, validation plans, and risk mitigation strategies for new products
- Supports design reviews, verification, and validation activities to ensure quality is built into products from concept through production
- Analyzes quality data and metrics to identify trends, systemic issues, and opportunities for continuous improvement
- Ensures products meet applicable electronic and safety regulatory requirements, including coordination of third-party certifications
- Collaborates with operations to improve manufacturing processes, reduce defects, and enhance product reliability
- Leads or supports quality activities including qualification, performance monitoring, and issue resolution
- Develops and maintains quality documentation including control plans, inspection criteria, and standard operating procedures
- Supports internal and external audits and ensures compliance with applicable standards, regulations, and company policies
- Implements and supports continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or similar approaches
- Provides training and guidance to cross-functional teams on quality standards, tools, and best practices
- Promotes a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement across the organization
- Performs other additional duties as assigned or required
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial), or a related field or equivalent combination of education and directly-related experience
- 3 years of experience in quality engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related technical role
- Experience supporting product development or manufacturing quality
Desired Qualifications
- ASQ certification such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or similar
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience working in manufacturing, product development, or engineering-driven environments
- Familiarity with regulatory or industry quality standards (e.g., ISO or similar frameworks)
Work Location
- Realityworks is headquartered in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. This is a fully onsite position.
Travel Requirements
- Occasional (<10%) travel may be required to support supplier visits, training, or professional development
