- Provide direct SEL instruction in classrooms and small groups
- Support students in developing self-regulation, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills
- Assist with behavior intervention plans and progress monitoring
- Facilitate restorative conversations and problem-solving meetings
- Support implementation of schoolwide SEL curriculum
- Assist with PBIS and MTSS frameworks
- Analyze behavior and attendance data to guide interventions

- Collaborate with counselors, administrators, and teachers
- Participate in MTSS, IEP, and 504 meetings as appropriate
- Communicate with families regarding student support strategies
- Connect families to community mental health resources when needed

- Assist with prevention programming related to bullying, peer conflict, and digital citizenship

- Valid Colorado Department of Education License as Special Service Provider in the area of School Counselor or willing to work towards certification and able to obtain a Temporary Educator Eligibility as a School Counselor (Additional coursework required for eligibility toward a Colorado License is required or must be completed within an agreed-upon timeframe)
