- Bachelor's Degree in Music Education preferred and will be given first consideration
- Currently hold a Colorado teaching license with appropriate endorsement or have licensure application in process (Additional coursework required for eligibility toward a Colorado Teacher License is required or must be completed within an agreed-upon timeframe)
- Currently hold a Colorado Substitute Teaching License if Teacher License is not completed
- Experience working with secondary-aged students preferred
- Strong classroom management skills

Re-1 Valley School District is seeking a passionate and student-centered Part-Time 6th-8th grade Music Teacher who inspires creativity, builds confidence, and fosters a lifelong love of music in elementary students. We are looking for an educator who believes music is essential to a well-rounded education and can create an engaging, inclusive classroom environment.
This position includes general music instruction for 6th-8th grade students and coordination of elementary performances and music programs.

SALARY RANGE & CATEGORY: $22,000 - $32,927 on Teacher Salary Schedule (Based on a Part-Time Schedule)
FLSA STATUS: Exempt
