Position Summary
PODER Secondary is a small-school environment where teachers track individual students and tailor instruction accordingly. There is a heavy focus on classroom management where behavior disruptions are minimized. Seeking creative minds who enjoy teaching math.
Qualifications
BA or BS degree Able to pass a background check
Experience working with secondary and/or experience working with diverse students is a plus (not required)
Multiple Certifications/Endorsements is a plus (not required)
Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus (not required)
Responsibilities
Develop lesson plans and deliver instruction
Provide small group and individual instruction
Provide weekly lesson plans to the Principal
Collaborate with team members to develop innovative instruction techniques
