Auto Body Technician - Full time

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join a busy and growing collision repair team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality repairs, works well in a fast-paced environment, and values teamwork and craftsmanship.
The technician will play a key role in restoring damaged vehicles to pre-accident condition while ensuring safety, accuracy, and customer satisfaction throughout the repair process.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform collision repairs on a variety of vehicle makes and models.
- Inspect vehicle damage and create accurate repair solutions following manufacturer standards.
- Repair or replace damaged body panels, structural components, and related parts.
- Use frame machines, measuring systems, welding tools, and other repair equipment safely and effectively.
- Ensure all repairs meet quality and safety standards.
- Maintain repair documentation, including labor performed and materials used.
- Communicate repair progress and updates with management and team members.
- Coordinate with the parts department to ensure timely availability of required parts and materials.
- Meet production goals while maintaining attention to detail and workmanship quality.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to workplace safety and hazardous material handling.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of auto body or collision repair experience required.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Collision repair or vocational training is a plus.
- Strong understanding of repair procedures, tools, materials, and body shop equipment.
- Ability to read repair orders, estimates, and manufacturer repair instructions.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a production-driven environment.
- Valid driver's license preferred with a good driving record.
