Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Avionics Technician to perform inspection, troubleshooting, repair, installation, and maintenance of aircraft avionics and electrical systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in avionics diagnostics, Garmin G1000 systems, and FAR Part 91.411/91.413 testing while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, test, and maintain aircraft avionics and electrical systems.
Read and interpret technical documentation including wiring diagrams, maintenance manuals, engineering drawings, parts catalogs, service bulletins, and airworthiness directives.
Fabricate and repair wiring harnesses using industry-standard soldering and crimping techniques.
Perform FAR Part 91.411 and 91.413 inspections, testing, and recertifications.
Complete avionics installations, upgrades, and system modifications.
Perform maintenance and repairs on aircraft flight simulators.
Accurately complete maintenance records and required documentation.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Utilize personal hand tools required for the position.
Perform additional maintenance duties in accordance with company procedures and Repair Station Manual requirements.
Support operational needs by working flexible shifts when required.

Education Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required.
FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License preferred.
FCC License is a plus.

Experience:
Minimum 5 consecutive years of recent avionics experience.
Experience performing FAR Part 91.411 and 91.413 inspections, testing, and recertification.
Minimum 1 year of Garmin G1000 experience.
Experience working on Piper aircraft preferred.
Experience in an FAA Part 145 Repair Station preferred.
Minimum 5 consecutive years of recent avionics experience.
