Description:
Provides administrative support to a department or individual. Duties may include timekeeping, word processing, filing, faxing, answering phones, receiving and directing visitors, scheduling, financial record keeping, coordinating meetings and conferences, obtaining supplies and sorting/distributing mail. May work on special projects. Strong communication skills and organizational skills are essential. Familiarity with MS Office required.
Some Notes on the Role:
-2 year contract with a strong possibility of conversion based on performance and availability of budget
-1 round of interviews with the host manager and her supervisor
-Location: 5 days a week onsite at Metro Location
-Hours are 6:30/7 AM PST - 3:30/4 PM PST
-This manager's team is part of the District Office (there are 5 total) and support distribution for operations for front line employees, first responders, construction, engineers/compliance, inspectors. They are half union/half internal.
-This role is a timekeeper- looking for someone who has been a timekeeper or an admin assistant who has done timekeeping/book keeping previously.
-Looking for someone very detail oriented, since this role can entail entering data in most of the day
-Highschool diploma required
-Open to experience in any industry
-This person will be trained by existing FTE's and the contractor who is leaving
-Manager to provide equiptment
- -Not looking for an Accountant/Financial Analyst- this is very a very administrative type of role looking for someone who has done a good deal of entering data.
