Job Summary

Our client is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join their team! This position is located in San Diego, California.


Core Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to assigned departments or leadership
  • Prepare, edit, and maintain documents using Microsoft Office applications
  • Answer and route incoming phone calls and greet visitors professionally
  • Schedule meetings, appointments, and conference rooms
  • Coordinate meetings, conferences, and special events
  • Maintain financial records, reports, and other administrative documentation as required
  • Manage office supplies and place orders when necessary
  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages
  • Organize and maintain physical and electronic filing systems
  • Assist with special projects and additional administrative tasks as assigned
  • Support team members by ensuring timely completion of administrative activities


Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves)

  • High school diploma or equivalent, Associate's degree preferred
  • 0–2 years of administrative or office support experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Professional demeanor and customer service mindset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team


Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves)

  • Previous internship or office experience
  • Experience scheduling meetings and managing calendars
  • Basic knowledge of recordkeeping and office procedures
  • Experience supporting multiple stakeholders

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $16.00 and 19.00 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
