Part-Time HR Generalist (20 Hours/Week)

Location: Woburn, MA (On-Site)
Schedule: Flexible 4days per week, 5hr shifts between 8am to 5pm M-F

We're seeking a proactive, organized, and people-focused HR Generalist to support the day-to-day human resources functions of our growing organization on a part-time basis. Reporting directly to the General Manager and working closely with the Controller, you'll play a key role in supporting employees and managers while helping ensure HR processes run smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR resource for employees and supervisors
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and new hire orientation
• Maintain employee files and HR documentation
• Coordinate benefits administration and respond to employee questions
• Assist with payroll-related HR functions, timekeeping, and personnel changes
• Support employee relations by addressing routine HR matters and escalating issues as appropriate
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company employment policies
• Coordinate training, performance review processes, and employee communications
• Maintain HR reports, metrics, and confidential records
• Assist with special HR projects and process improvements

Qualifications

• 3 years of Human Resources Generalist experience
• Experience supporting hourly or blue-collar workforces strongly preferred
• Experience with OSHA or Safety Protocols and Prevailing Wage reporting is a HUGE plus
• Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
• Experience with onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, and recruiting
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS/payroll systems is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
